Two communities of Kururuwa and Chikan, both in Pankshin LGA were in jubilant mood today, as the captain of #GenerationNext Movement, Dr. Nentawe Yilwatda led other members of the movement to commission two boreholes donated by H3 Foundation.

Speaking separately at the two communities, Dr. Nentawe Yilwatda saluted the philanthropic gesture of Mr. Joseph Rotdung, whose Foundation facilitated the siting and drilling of the boreholes. He reiterated the importance of water to human survival and thanked the donor for ameliorating the hardship these communities have been facing. Dr. Nentawe stated further that one of his key vision for Plateau State is to invest in Plateau people and raise great men and women who will thrive in various enterprises and in turn support their communities.

While handing over the boreholes to the two communities, Mr. Joseph Rotdung, a Lagos-based business tycoon and a strong supporter of #GenerationNext Movement, admonished the people to take ownership of the boreholes, because according to him, he derived satisfaction in helping the needy.

Responding separately on behalf of the benefiting communities, clergymen, community leaders, women and youth representatives appreciated the donor for solving their decades-long water problem. They also expressed excitement at seeing Dr. Nentawe Yilwatda in their communities, pledging total support for his gubernatorial aspiration. The brief ceremonies ended with prayers of goodwill, God’s protection and success to both Dr. Nentawe Yilwatda and Mr. Joseph Rotdung.
